Class Work

College of Marin
Drawing Heads & Hands Class
with Ann Curran Turner

Feb 4 - Mar 24, 2004

Day 1

Feb 4th, 2004

Drawing #1

Drawing 1 - Heads and Hands Class

This first drawing from a model took the first ten minutes of class with two five minute poses from our model.  I didn't care for the likeness so I started another drawing below for the rest of this first class

Too many lines can make the subject look older, about 30 years older then the model actually was.

Drawing #2

Drawing 1 - Heads and Hands Class

This second drawing took twenty minutes with four five minute poses from our model.

After the consideration of line from drawing number one, I was able to create another that looked younger, yet still  lacks an accurate resemblance of our model.
